A Bit About Me

I am the owner and artist at Cheeky Glitterbugs Face Painting. I am a married mum of 3 young kids. I started face painting when my eldest son was upset that his siblings had their faces painted at an event while he was at kinder. I promised him that I would paint his face so he didn't miss out. So off to the shops we went to find some cheap Halloween left over face paints! We got home and I painted him as a skeleton. He ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! He was so happy, and I really enjoyed it too. So over the following few days I painted the other kids too. It was so much fun, but the quality just wasn't great. That is when I decided to take the leap and buy myself a professional face painting kit. Brushes, proper good quality paints, sponges, glitter, the lot! Boy was it worth it!! My work improved ten fold literally over night. From there I practiced every day, any kid who came to my house did not leave with a bare face. The smiles and excitement I received was very rewarding. I painted for a friends birthday party, my kids kinder break up, playgroup Christmas parties and for family and friends. Then decided I was ready to branch out to birthday parties, markets and other events.
